Samsung Galaxy SIII Launches in February

December 06, 2011  |  Views : 67

Samsung is planning to hit the market with a new version of the same device with new features, named as Galaxy SIII. The Galaxy SIII will be announced in February 2012. The Samsung Galaxy SIII is also expected to come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1 GB of RAM and 4.6 inch Super Amoled Plus HD display with 1280X720 pixels resolution. The other likely features in this device would be 12 mega pixel camera and support for NFC (near field communication) and LTE (long term evolution).

The device will come with Samsung Exynos 4412 quad core processor which will have 1.5 GHz clock speed. Using quad core processor makes sense for Samsung as other handset makers such as HTC have also begun using quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processors. The handset may come with an improved GPU (graphics processing unit) which will perform five times better than the earlier Mali graphics processor. The device is also likely to have flexible OLED (organic light emitting diode) screens which use less power and are thinner than the usual LCD screens. It is expected that the user interface of the device would be TouchWiz UI, because the usual Android UI now anyway has many features which are offered by TouchWiz also.
