NEW DELHI: Social networking site Facebook's latest service Timeline was globally rolled out on Thursday. The company said Timeline had so far been available only to a few people, but now it had made it available to everybody. Timeline allows users to compile and let others see everything they have shared so far, from photos, stories to shared videos, music etc. According to Facebook's official blog, after upgrading your profile to Timeline, you'll have seven days to review everything that appears on your timeline before anyone else can see it.

The users can choose to publish timeline at any time during the review period, but after seven days the Timeline will automatically go live. Timeline will actually replace a user's old profile, but all the stories and photos will be retained. Timeline also features a new tool called Activity Log, where users can review their posts and other activities. The users can set and customise privacy level of their timeline just like they could adjust the settings in their Facebook profile. Timeline was announced by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg at the f8 conference in September.
